Birmingham Airport Motorhome Hire made possible thanks to Carefree Motorhomes.

When you arrive at Birmingham International Airport (BHX), we will have pre-arranged to collect you, and take you to your motorhome hire.

Delivery of a Motorhome Hire to the airport is only possible out of season, so during June, July , August and early September you would be collected by taxi and brought to our depot in the Midlands at Norwell Woodhouse, Newark Nottinghamshire. Return is in reverse, your motorhome is returned to our Depot in Norwell Woodhouse and the taxi takes you on to the airport. There is an additional cost for these services.

Out of season we may have drivers available to deliver the motorhome hire to the airport. Please telephone to secure your individual arrangements and requirements.

Delivery and Pick up charges

Hertz Rental Cars

Carefree Motorhomes have an arrangement with our local Hertz car Rental dealer. You can hire a Hertz car rental to drop off and collect from our depot. This means that your Hertz car rental is waiting for you to collect at the airport and when you return from your motorhome hire it is at our depot waiting for you. Hiring a Hertz Rental car can be cheaper than a taxi.
To access this service you must contact us prior to travelling and you must book this in advance.

Reasonable Pick up and return times

Collection and return will always be within normal office hours. Plan your trip to fit in with our collection times of 3p.m. in the afternoon and return to our depot for 10a.m. on the last day of hire. Contact us for information about costs of bookings outside of our advertised times.

Free Bedding and linen costs

If you are arriving from abroad and have proof of travel, we will provide free bedding hire. You receive towels, bottom sheets, duvets, pillows and tea towels in addition to all the crockery, cutlery and pots and pans and equipment already on board.

Handover Times

Allow 40 minutes handover time. On collection, one of our staff will spend time showing you how everything works and you will be asked to sign a condition report accepting the vehicle and agreeing you have had a full demonstration. It is helpful to have one member of your party, English speaking. On return you will need to allow 40 minutes to an hour for you to unload the motorhome and for a member of staff to inspect that it is returned in good condition without damage. The toilet cassette and grey water tank should be empty, and it should have a full tank of fuel.
